Artist Spotlight: Her Skeleton
A lot of press kits come across my desk. Most are from promising bands that need some tweaking and growth before they can get to the next level. A small percentage of the press kits elicit the response “why the hell isn’t this band signed?” Her Skeleton falls into that small percentage.
This band sounds like it’s on the cusp of breaking out L.A. and into the nation forum. The music is tight and vocalist Chris Pope has great pipes with a style that reminds me of Richard Patrick. Be sure to check these guys out!
Formed in Los Angeles in 2007, Her Skeleton deliver an in your face unique sound capturing elements of hard rock and metal with mainstream appeal. Strong songwriting, dynamic performances and solid musicianship have gained the band a loyal and growing following. Currently in pre-production for their forth coming album the band continue to cement their live reputation by playing shows around Southern California. With a strong work ethic built around a passion for music there appears to be no limit to what the band can achieve.
