NEW YORK – Cash Money/Universal Republic Records breakthrough chart topper, Kevin Rudolf, has announced his first U.S. headlining tour, The Let It Rock Tour, presented by Live Nation, the largest producer of live music in the world.

Featured artists joining Kevin on the cross country trek, which kicks off in Nashville, TN on April 3rd, include electro-genre mashers Hyper Crush, New Jersey rockers Cash Cash, punk/funksters The Audition, and Nebraska pop band Go Crash Audio.

Advance ticket sales for the Let It Rock Tour will begin Thursday, February 26, with general public on-sales slated to start Friday, February 27 via www.livenation.com. Check www.livenation.com for additional tour stop announcements

The multi-talented singer/songwriter will bring his arena-ready electro-rock to American concert venues for the first time as a headlining artist, armed with one of the biggest genre-defying radio hits in recent memory – the explosive “Let It Rock” (featuring Lil Wayne), the first single from his Cash Money/Universal Republic debut album, IN THE CITY.

Kevin’s defiant, synth-fueled anthem, boosted by Lil Wayne’s snarling cameo has become rock’s most popular call-to-arms in 2008-2009, a radio-friendly cascade of scorching guitars, hip hop-tinged beats and industrial-sized choral arrangements that has locked down the #1 spot on the iTunes charts, and remained an upper-tier staple on multiple Billboard formats (including the #5 slot on Billboard’s Hot 100 Singles chart) since its release last fall. His new single, “Welcome To The World,” is also being embraced by radio stations and fans across the country. The song impacted radio on February 17th, garnering an early listenership at more than 40 pop stations as it fast becomes another top requested single. A special remix on tap for radio features urban music’s newest rising star, Kid Cudi, who has been cited by magazines such as XXL and Rolling Stone as one of hip hop’s more impressive up-and-coming new talents.

Kevin’s rapturous musical style has been hailed by critics as a sublime blend of influences, with Entertainment Weekly calling “Let It Rock,” an ‘infectious debut that mixes his rap-track know-how with his love of guitar-god theatrics,’ and People Magazine praising IN THE CITY as ‘a place where rock coexists with dance, pop, intermingling with hip hop.’ The song and album have emerged as a multi-platform phenomenon, becoming one of the top selling digital singles, logging 2.5 million downloads on iTunes, and the video, featuring hip hop superstar Lil Wayne and directed by Justin Francis, (Eminem, Alicia Keys, 50 Cent,) nearing the 2 million views milestone on youtube.

The talented guitarist/producer, whose musical instincts were forged in the foundries of late night NYC studio sessions, earned his funk/rock pedigree as an accomplished musician and respected collaborator, placing him on the radar of some of the industry’s biggest names. As a guitarist, he contributed the trademark riffs in smash hits such as Lil Kim’s “The Jumpoff,” and Nelly Furtado’s “Say It Right.” He flourished as an in-demand producer/guitar player and songwriter, working with superstar artists such as Justin Timberlake, LL Cool J, Black Eyed Peas, David Banner and more. His upcoming live show is certain to showcase his talent as a frontman and multi-talented musician.

“I’m excited to enter this new phase of my career where I’ll be able to roll across America with the energy and cooperation of all these great sponsors and thank fans for their tremendous support the best way I know how – with a great live show,” says Kevin. “We’ll be performing ‘Let It Rock’ and other songs from IN THE CITY the way I have envisioned doing it ever since I dreamed of getting into music. I can’t wait to hit each and every staqe.”
